The Glenpool Warriors will challenge the Muskogee Roughers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Friday, Glenpool was able to grind out a solid victory over Pawnee, taking the game 8-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.
Peyton Surrett made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Surrett was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mason Romero, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2025. Raedyn Holland was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
Glenpool hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Muskogee, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They never let McAlester get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Friday.
Not much got past Avery Browning, who gave up just four hits to keep McAlester off the board. Browning also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Muskogee is 6-3 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-21 otherwise.
At the plate, Muskogee's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Doc Estes, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Muskogee's win bumped their record up to 10-24. As for Glenpool, their victory bumped their record up to 4-22.
