It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Highline Pirates had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 34-6 win over WF West. Considering Highline has won ten games by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Ronan Rasmussen threw for 85 yards and two touchdowns.
The win was the ninth in a row for Highline, bringing their record for this year to 10-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 49.11 points. As for WF West, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.
Highline will take on Enumclaw at 7:00 p.m. on November 18th. One thing working in Enumclaw's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last eight matchups. WF West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
