The Bensalem Fighting Owls will head out on the road to face off against the Council Rock North Indians at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Council Rock South scored an imposing 62 points on Tuesday, Bensalem still came out on top. Bensalem took their contest against Council Rock South 74-62.
Bensalem's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Antonio Morris led the charge by scoring 19 points. Noah Morris was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Meanwhile, Council Rock North didn't have too much trouble with Harry S. Truman on the road on Tuesday as they won 58-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Council Rock North.
Bensalem's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Council Rock North, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Bensalem and Council Rock North were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in January, but Bensalem came up empty-handed after a 53-52 loss. Can Bensalem avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
