Roswell has won eight straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Milton has won eight straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Hornets will welcome the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Roswell's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last six contests.
Roswell is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Gainesville, who was ranked ninth at the time (Roswell was ranked eighth). The Hornets skirted past the Red Elephants 37-35.

Trey Smith had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 97 yards and four touchdowns, while also throwing for 274 yards while completing 72.7% of his passes. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Wills Campbell was Smith's top target, picking up 155 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Milton). They blew past Johns Creek, posting a 57-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five games by 25 points or more so far this season.
Milton found their leader in sophomore Ben Halevi, who threw for 186 yards and five TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes. Those five passing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for Halevi. Another player making a difference was Bentley Hickman, who rushed for 101 yards and one score on only five carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Milton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 215 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 151 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Milton, racking up 11 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Ayden Williams, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Roswell's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Milton, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
Friday's contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Smith and Halevi. Smith just won't slow down this season and has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 206.1 passing yards per game. Halevi has been a dominant force too and has thrown 13 touchdowns (and no picks) while averaging 174.2 passing yards per game.
Roswell lost to Milton at home by a decisive 35-20 margin in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Will the Hornets have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other football content.
