White Knoll will take on a team with plenty of momentum: West Florence extended their winning streak to four on Friday. The Knights blew past Andrew Jackson 13-3. Considering the Knights have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Jacob Love tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Carson Haynes, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Evan Deas, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.
West Florence always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .514 or higher in three consecutive games.
White Knoll came out on top against Beaufort on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run sixth inning. The Timberwolves walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Eagles. With that win, the Timberwolves brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
White Knoll got a big performance out of Jean Maldonado, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Tra Johnson, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
White Knoll's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for West Florence, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
Saturday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. West Florence has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .496. However, it's not like White Knoll struggles in that department as they've averaged .488. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
