The Frankfort Wildcats had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They claimed a resounding 61-14 victory over Pawnee City on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-8.
Frankfort's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Pawnee City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Frankfort will face off against Northern Heights on Tuesday. As for Pawnee City, they will head out on the road to face off against Parkview Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
