Tooele took down Ben Lomond 45-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Andrew Spendlove in the win.
Morgan led 3A Region 11 in scoring this week after putting up 52 points on Ogden. Ben Saunders threw for 198 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
The Trojans' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Parker Lucas chipped in 109 yards. Kason Hansen helped Morgan's passing attack out by catching one ball for 63 yards.
Lantzen Toomer was the best wideout in the league this week as Morgan topped the Tigers. Toomer racked up three receptions for 101 yards.
Bear River's Kyle Zundel and Colton Jensen have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Zundel has thrown for 1150 yards this season, while Jensen, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 32 catches for 479 yards. Ky Fisher from Grantsville leads the league in rushing with 709 yards.
A big matchup in 3A Region 11 this week will be when the Scots take on Stansbury. At the moment, Ben Lomond is in seventh, while the Stallions are in first.
The Buffaloes made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,526 from 13,003. The improvement was the result of 45-7 victory over Bill Mierzejewski's team last week.
