Maya Degreenia posted a new career-high in passing touchdowns on Monday. She rushed for 58 yards and one score, and also threw for 75 yards and three TDs, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She didn't just play on offense: she also made two total tackles and defended three passes.

Coming up, Degreenia and Winthrop College Prep Academy will challenge Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Eagles thanks in part to Degreenia: she rushed for 70 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 87 yards and one TD.
