Basketball Recap: Beaver Dam Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Founders Classical Academy, Beaver Dam was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 42-26 victory over the Fredonia Lynx. Given the Diamondback's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Lynx are ranked 247th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Beaver Dam pushed their record up to 4-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points per game. As for Fredonia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Beaver Dam will be taking part in a tournament against Lund at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fredonia, they will venture away from home to square off against Seligman at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
