The Mascoutah Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their fourth straight  loss. They fell  51-38 to Jersey. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Mascoutah of the  58-43 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture  back in December of 2023.
 Jersey's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Tessa Crawford led the charge by  scoring 22 points along with four  steals. Crawford hasn't dropped below 19 points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Casey Kallal, who  scored nine points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
 Mascoutah has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost six of their last seven matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season. As for Jersey, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won 13 of their last 16 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.
 Mascoutah will head out on the road to  face off against  the Terriers at 6:15  p.m.  on Monday. As for Jersey, they will be playing at home against the Kahoks at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Hopefully Collinsville focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 18 on Saturday.
