In what's become a running theme this season, the Tri-Cities Christian Eagles gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Varsity Opponent 72-32 at home. The win was familiar territory for Tri-Cities Christian who now have four in a row.
Tri-Cities Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Michaela Dixon led the charge by scoring 24 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Dixon hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Faith Greene, who scored 25 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Tri-Cities Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Varsity Opponent, their loss was their 15th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 115-410.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-Cities Christian will face off against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Varsity Opponent, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Archers at 11:30 a.m. on February 3rd.
