Plano took down Westmont 72-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Reapers made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,702 from 6,520. The improvement was the result of 72-14 victory over the Sentinels last week.
Brandon Wenzel put up the best numbers in passing as Peotone fell to Seneca. He finished with 7 completions for 86 yards.
Austin Berns was the best receiver in Interstate Eight - Large this week as Herscher fell to Lisle. Berns racked up 7 receptions for 60 yards. Dean Johnson helped Herscher's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 57 yards.
Jordan Lamie was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 87 yards on 15 carries as the Tigers lost to the Lions. Blake Patchett also contributed to the rushing game with 12 yards on the ground.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Herscher takes on the Blue Devils. Dan Wetzel's team's offense has scored 63 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Peotone has allowed only 19 on the year.
An important game coming up in Interstate Eight - Large this week will be when Coal City takes on Manteno. The Coalers are in fifth place, while the Panthers are in second place.
There should be lots of points scored when Jason Spang's team and the Tigers face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Blue Devils comes in having scored 39 this season, while Herscher has scored 63. Peotone scored 7 points last week as it lost to the Fighting Irish.
Plano led the league in scoring this week after putting up 72 points on Westmont.
