The Lancaster Eagles can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 82-68 win over Palmdale. The victory was just what Lancaster needed coming off of a 56-36 defeat in their prior game.
Despite the loss, Palmdale still got an impressive performance from Jamari Owens, who scored 34 points. That was a full 50% of Palmdale's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Carlos Munoz, who scored ten points.
Lancaster's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-15. As for Palmdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-23 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lancaster will take on the Lobos at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Palmdale, they will be playing at home against the Antelopes at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in California (Antelope Valley is ranked 1103rd, while the Falcons are ranked 1115th).
