Interboro is 0-10 against Chichester since April of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Buccaneers will look to defend their home field against the Eagles at 3:45 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Interboro took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Chester a 16-0 shutout.
Austin Dean was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025. He was also big at the plate, earning one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Chichester entered their tilt with Penn Wood on Thursday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They were the clear victors by a 19-0 margin over the Patriots.
Cole Sanford was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Luke Werley was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles.
Chichester kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in eight consecutive matchups.
Interboro's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Chichester, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Interboro has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .473. However, it's not like Chichester struggles in that department as they've averaged .587. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Interboro might still be hurting after the 12-3 defeat they got from Chichester in their previous matchup back in April. Can the Buccaneers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
