 Brock Odendahl made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  six innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   four  hits. Odendahl was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with three  stolen bases and three  runs. Those  three  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Zach Gavlak was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI and one  run. Halstead is 2-1 when  Gavlak posts three or  more  RBI, but 4-16 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ben Schulte, who  went 1-for-4 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 Halstead was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .387. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Halstead's victory bumped their record up to 6-17. As for Sylvan-Lucas, their defeat was  their fourth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 5-16.
As of now, neither Halstead nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
