It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Oak Ridge had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They breezed past the River City Raiders to the tune of 45-6. Maya Scipio had an outrageously good game as she threw for 269 yards and seven TDs. Those seven passing touchdowns gave her a new career-high. Taylor Lemos was another key player, picking up 61 receiving yards and three scores.
Oak Ridge's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Berkeley Lampe. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one sack the last four times she's played.
