Harding Academy took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They managed a 19-14 victory over the Kingsbury Falcons. The win was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Carter Camacho punched in a rushing score, and also threw for 71 yards and a touchdown.
Aiden Brown was his top target, picking up 62 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground,
Tyson Williams rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harding Academy will face off against West Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Harding Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for Kingsbury, they are taking a road trip to take on Briarcrest Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
