Fort White is a perfect 3-0 against Saint Francis Catholic since February of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Indians will host the Wolves at 6:00 p.m. Fort White is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
Fort White had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Eastside on Tuesday. The Indians were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Rams. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Patrick Kennedy made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Fort White is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 6-7 otherwise. Kennedy was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Matthew Pitts, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Davic Kasper, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.
Fort White always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, it may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Saint Francis Catholic ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Oak Hall 5-4.
Sander Williams looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Saint Francis Catholic got a big performance out of Chris Durstine, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Andy Janelle was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.
Saint Francis Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Fort White, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Fort White has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Saint Francis Catholic struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 5.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Fort White skirted past Saint Francis Catholic 3-2 in their previous matchup back in February. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
