Cook County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rohan Rude, who scored 14 points along with 9 assists. Jordan Backstrom was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 5 rebounds.
South Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Cook County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
South Ridge will be playing at home against North Woods at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Cook County, they will head out on the road to face off against Carlton/Wrenshall at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
