Baseball Recap: Pine Lake Prep Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Pine Lake Prep made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Christ the King, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Pine Lake Prep Pride blew past the Christ the King Crusaders 7-1 on Tuesday. The win was just business as usual for the Pride, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Alec Brown made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Brown was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3.

In other pitching news, Jeter Bynum tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Dylan Brandt, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Grant Ingram, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Pine Lake Prep's record now sits at 3-0. As for Christ the King, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine Lake Prep will face off against Forbush at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Christ the King, they will take on Pine Lake Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
