Muskegon Catholic Central extended the longest winning streak in Freelance this week by beating Mendon, 28-12. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
Muskegon Catholic Central was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from third to first in the league. Earlier in the week, Steve Czerwon's team defeated the Hornets 28-12.
Chavez Academy's Omar Salih and Nate Drew have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Salih has thrown for 3,305 yards this season, while Drew has 70 catches for 1,379 yards. Sault Area's Raynell Anderson leads the league in rushing yards with 1,936.
Austin Brown has rushed for 906 yards on 104 carries so far this year.
Standish-Sterling fell to Menominee 49-27 last week, the largest margin of any game.
