Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ranburne). They skirted past the Randolph County Tigers 13-12. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bulldogs needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Ranburne got a massive performance out of Aubie Rollins, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Rollins a new career-high. Karoline Meadows was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Ranburne's victory bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Randolph County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-9.
Looking ahead, Ranburne will challenge Cleburne County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Randolph County, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Shelby County at 11:20 a.m.
