Baseball Recap: North Summit Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, North Summit was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They came up short against the Awaken Christian Lions, falling 10-2.

North Summit saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon Preator, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Preator is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

North Summit's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Awaken Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

North Summit didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-2 defeat against Varsity Opponent on the 14th. As for Awaken Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-2 victory against Beaver Dam on the 14th.
