Baseball Recap: Palm Beach Lakes Has No Trouble Against Inlet Grove

Palm Beach Lakes's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Inlet Grove Hurricanes 20-6. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Bryce Jackson and Zavier Mendonca did most of the damage at the plate: Jackson got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and one double, while Mendonca scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. That's the most RBI Jackson has posted since back in March of 2024. Zyon Mcmann also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Palm Beach Lakes is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Inlet Grove is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palm Beach Lakes will square off against David Posnack Jewish Day at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give David Posnack Jewish Day their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. Inlet Grove will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sports Leadership & Management at 6:30 p.m. on March 31st.
