Meanwhile, Globe struggled with assists on Monday (Payson had seven more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Globe received a tough blow as they fell 65-47 to Payson. Globe has struggled against Payson recently, as their match on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Josiah Cutter, who scored 18 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonas Dillon, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
The win got Benjamin Franklin back to even at 10-10. As for Globe, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-16.
Wednesday's contest is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Benjamin Franklin have been dynamite from deep this season, having nailed 37.5% of their threes per game. It's a different story for Globe, though, as they've only drained 35.5% of their threes per game this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
