District 10 Region 1 A recap October 29, 2013
Lakeview added to the longest winning streak in District 10 Region 1 A this week by beating West Middlesex, 19-2. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Sailors.
Sharpsville moved up to 218 from 259 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Blue Devils climbed the ranks as a result of besting John F. Kennedy Catholic 35-7.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Big Reds' Trey Staunch and Dillon Fair have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-3 quarterback Staunch has thrown for 999 yards this season, while Fair has 34 catches for 432 yards. Lakeview's Blake Reddick leads the league in rushing yards with 1,885.
Kennedy Catholic lost to Conneaut Area 60-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
