Auburn extended their losing streak  (dating back to last season) to 11  on Friday, dropping them down to 0-9. They were  outmatched by the Olympia Spartans and fell  60-28. The Trojans were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Spartans from their previous meeting  back in October of 2024.

 Auburn lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Coy Grossner, who picked up 111 receiving yards and three  touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 61 yards. Auburn also got a significant boost from  Chance Crissey, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 151 yards.
As for Olympia, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 26  points or more this season.
 Olympia was led to victory by  Brendon Hardimon and  Jimmy Lollar.  Hardimon rushed for 144 yards and a pair of  scores, while  Lollar rushed for 137 yards and two  TDs on only nine carries. With that strong performance,  Hardimon is now averaging an impressive 103.8  rushing yards per game.  Kaden Collins was another key back, rushing for 47 yards and one  touchdown.
 Auburn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Olympia, they will face off against Greenville at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The Spartans will need to watch out since the Comets have now posted at least 31  points  in their last three matchups.
