Volleyball Recap: Sycamore Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Sycamore waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Cavaliers back in September, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

While Sycamore won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23.

Sycamore's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for LaSalle-Peru, their loss ended a seven-match streak of away wins and brought them to 23-3.

Sycamore has already played their next match (against Kaneland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for LaSalle-Peru, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Ottawa on the 15th.
