Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Ravenna Ravens and fell 79-41. One positive for the Spartans, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Ravenna, with the win, they broke their 16-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springfield will be taking part in a tournament against Southeast at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Springfield is facing Southeast at the right time seeing as Southeast is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ravenna, they will take on Garfield at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Garfield will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Ravenna surely won't give up without a fight.
