Bloomfield Christian School dropped their record down to 16-2 on Monday, which also ended the team's 14-game streak of wins. They lost 10-0 to the Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Defenders, who until this matchup were averaging three runs allowed.

As for Plymouth Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games.

For Plymouth Christian Academy's part, Luke Janigian was a standout: he went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Janigian a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Danny Antone, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

The timing is sure in the Eagles' favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while the Lancers have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
