 The  loss was their first  at home , dropping their record down to 6-3. As for Sonora, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
 Sonora was able to grind out a solid  victory over Irvine when the teams last played  back in October of 2024, winning  28-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
