Mildred came tearing into Monday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Cayuga Wildcats 15-5. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly ten runs.

Mildred's record now sits at 8-9-2. As for Cayuga, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-13.

Mildred will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
