PSAL Bowl recap October 1, 2013
South Shore added to the longest winning streak in PSAL Bowl this week by beating Petrides, 48-12. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Roosevelt was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in the league. The Cougars vanquished Lane 40-8 earlier in the week.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Tilden takes on South Shore. The Blue Devils are in seventh place, while the Vikings are in first place.
McKee Vo-Tech scaled the state rankings by moving to 270 from 344 this week, the biggest jump in PSAL Bowl. The Seagulls climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Tilden 26-22.
