Danner Daugherty put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Saturday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Tularosa is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 4-5 otherwise.

Daugherty's effort led Tularosa over Socorro and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
