Walkertown is 0-10 against West Stokes since March of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Wolfpack will challenge the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Walkertown's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Wheatmore as they made off with a 9-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Wolfpack sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Macy Miller and Olivia Boast made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Miller kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Meanwhile, Boast tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Miller has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. At the plate, Miller went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double, while Boast went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base was Boast's first of the season.
In other batting news, Walkertown let Hailey Graves and Savannah Miller run wild. Graves went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple, while Miller went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits Miller has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Taylor Isley, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple.
Walkertown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in eight consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, West Stokes' rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Wednesday. They put the hurt on McMichael with a sharp 10-0 victory.
West Stokes' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Walkertown, their record now sits at 12-3.
Walkertown suffered a grim 15-0 defeat to West Stokes in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Wolfpack avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
