The Ingomar Falcons stacked an 18th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They really took it to Calhoun City for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-33 win on the road. The win was familiar territory for Ingomar who now have seven in a row.
It was another big night for Macie Phifer, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Phifer, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Ingomar has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. As for Calhoun City, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 16-1.
Ingomar won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Water Valley at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Water Valley is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Calhoun City, they will head out on the road to square off against Shannon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
