Payson barely beat Combs the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Longhorns were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Coyotes on Friday. The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Coyotes recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Payson's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Combs, their loss dropped their record down to 8-17.

Coincidentally, Payson and Combs will both be playing Casa Grande the next time they take the court. The Coyotes will host the Cougars at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, while the Longhorns will play them later in the day, at 4:35 p.m.
