Curwensville has gone 6-1 against Williamsburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Golden Tide will venture away from home to square off against the Blue Pirates at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Curwensville has three straight wins, Williamsburg has 26 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Curwensville barely beat Glendale the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Golden Tide were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Vikings on Thursday. Considering the Golden Tide have won nine games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Williamsburg's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Curwensville has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10.1 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Williamsburg, though, as they've been averaging only 2.9 strikeouts. Will Curwensville keep running through batters, or will the Blue Pirates buck the trend?
Curwensville took their win against Williamsburg in their previous matchup on Tuesday by a conclusive 18-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Tide since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
