The biggest upset of the week belonged to El Camino Real, who took down 595th ranked El Camino Real, 8-7. Joshua Anderson ran for 78 yards in the win.
Cleveland moved up to 625 from 709 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in West Valley. A 8-7 win over the Conquistadors helped the Cavaliers improve their standing.
Cleveland's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cavaliers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Vincent Urquidi has thrown for 586 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Japheth Pleasant has 23 catches for 352 yards. Anderson leads the league in rushing with 698 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Granada Hills takes on second place Birmingham. Granada Hills topped Chatsworth last week, while Birmingham defeated Taft.
Cleveland and El Camino Real played the most hotly contested game in West Valley this week, with Cleveland eventually emerging with a 8-7 victory. Anderson in the win.
