The Southern Choctaw Indians can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 50-12 win over Millry at home. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Southern Choctaw had established a 35 point advantage.
Leading Southern Choctaw to victory were Marcionna Young and Kyah Crain. Young scored ten points, while Crain scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Unnalashel Causey, who scored six points.
Southern Choctaw's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points per game. As for Millry, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Southern Choctaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Millry will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Washington County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 13 contests -- so hopefully the Wildcats likes a good challenge.
