Wheatland-Grinnell took care of business in their home opener (and then some). They claimed a resounding 56-29 win over Logan/Palco at home.
Wheatland-Grinnell got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Natalie Bixenman out in front who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aliviah Ball, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds.
Wheatland-Grinnell's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Logan/Palco, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Everything came up roses for Wheatland-Grinnell against Logan/Palco in their previous meeting on Friday as the team secured a 56-29 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wheatland-Grinnell since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
