Basketball Recap: Math Science & Engineering Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Math Science & Engineering waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Douglass Academy Lions by a score of 37-30. Given Math Science & Engineering's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 195th, while Douglass Academy is ranked 494th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Math Science & Engineering's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Douglass Academy, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Math Science & Engineering will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Washington Heights Expeditionary at 4:30 p.m. on January 28th. Douglass Academy has already played their next contest, a 36-34 defeat against Community Health Academy on the 13th.
