The Pahokee Blue Devils's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 71-44 defeat at the hands of Leonard. Pahokee has not had much luck with Leonard recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the loss, Pahokee saw an underclassman step up: Javian Jones scored 20 points.
Pahokee has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for Leonard, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
Pahokee will play host again and welcome Clewiston, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Clewiston is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Leonard won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Trinity Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th.
