Malakoff came tearing into Tuesday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Grand Saline Indians 55-16. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Malakoff pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.1 points per game. As for Grand Saline, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.

Malakoff will take on Quitman in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Grand Saline and Winona will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
