The top six prospects and 10 of the top 11 in MaxPreps.com's Top 100 will participate in the 2011 Jordan Brand Classic.
Marking its 10th anniversary, the Classic is scheduled for April 16 at Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C. ESPN2 will air the contest live at 8 p.m. EST.
"As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Jordan Brand Classic, our goal remains to provide the student-athletes with a platform that will enhance their skills on and off the court," said Keith Houlemard, President of Jordan Brand. "Charlotte's Time Warner Cable Arena is the perfect venue for capturing the talent and energy of these elite players."

Like the McDonald's All-American Game, the Jordan Brand Classic's roster is headlined by national player of the year candidates
Bradley Beal of
Chaminade (St. Louis, Mo.),
Michael Gilchrist of
St. Patrick (Elizabeth, N.J.) and
Austin Rivers of
Winter Park (Fla.).
Beal, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard and future Florida Gator, is coming off a 40-point performance over the weekend in a nationally-televised win over
McCluer North (Florissant, Mo.). He is averaging 32.3 points per game this season.
Gilchrist is the leader of the nation's top-ranked high school team at St. Patrick. The future Kentucky Wildcat earned MVP honors at the prestigious City of Palms Classic in December and is MaxPreps.com's No. 1 prospect in the 2011 class.
Duke signee Rivers is an explosive scorer (29.6 points per game this season) looking to lead Winter Park to its second-straight Class 6A state title in Florida.
