A Season-Best  Effort from  Ezekiel Belcher Leads Woodmont over Greenwood
 On Thursday, Woodmont had to settle for second even though  Ezekiel Belcher put up the best numbers he has all season. Belcher's rushing production has been exceptional  as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 118  rushing yards.
 Woodmont is  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5. Belcher and Woodmont will challenge Mauldin at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.

Nehemiah Floyd Crosses Big Stat Threshold
 Mauldin was led to victory by  Nehemiah Floyd, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Thursday. Floyd rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (100.8). Mauldin is 2-1 when  Floyd posts two or  more  rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.
 Mauldin's victory  ended  a  seven-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-4. Floyd and Mauldin will head out to  square off against Woodmont  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.

 On Thursday, Mauldin got the W thanks in part to  Evan Hruska playing the best football he has all season. Hruska wasn't messing around, picking up  a  sack, forcing a fumble,  and making nine total tackles (2.5 for loss). The  matchup was his sixth straight with five or   more total tackles.
 For the year,  Hruska  has averaged 7.8 total tackles per game  and for the season has 2 sacks.

Christie Posts Huge Game in  28-17  Loss
  Jacob Christie continued his hot streak  on Thursday by dropping his sixth-straight game  with  at least nine  total tackles. He picked up  a  sack and made 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
 Greenville's defeat was  their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-5. Christie and Greenville will take on Hillcrest at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.

Kalab Sutton Has Career Rushing Day
  Kalab Sutton posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Thursday. He rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.
 On the season,  Sutton  has averaged 161.8 passing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 27.6  passing yards per game.
