The St. Paul Cardinals''s three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They walked away with a 29-21 victory over New Braunfels Christian Academy. The win was just what St. Paul needed coming off of a 40-0 defeat in their prior contest.
New Braunfels Christian Academy's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Crew Wright, who picked up 123 receiving yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Joseph, who rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown.
St. Paul's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for New Braunfels Christian Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road , which bumped their record down to 2-7.
St. Paul will be playing in front of their home fans against Temple Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Temple Christian is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for New Braunfels Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Northland Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
