The Choctawhatchee Indians will challenge the Ohio County Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Choctawhatchee is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.
On Friday, Choctawhatchee made easy work of Freeport and carried off a 12-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Isaiah Rohn made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Carter Powell looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on John Brown, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those two triples gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jordan Figueroa, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
Choctawhatchee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .484. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Freeport only posted a batting average of .304.
Meanwhile, Ohio County entered their contest against Franklin on Sunday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 4-2.
Choctawhatchee's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Ohio County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
Ohio County's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Choctawhatchee hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .327.
