Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Leo). They claimed a resounding 61-22 win over the Fort Wayne Canterbury Cavaliers. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-12.

Leah Shappell was her usual excellent self, putting up 15 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie Collins, who went 5 for 10 on her way to 12 points in addition to five assists and five steals.

Leo smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in eight consecutive contests.

Leo has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Fort Wayne Canterbury, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13.
