Orchard Farm had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 59-47 win over Warrenton. Yes, you read that final score correctly. Yes, this was football.
Orchard Farm started the match off right with 38 first-half points. Warrenton wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 20 to make it 38-20 heading into the break. Orchard Farm were outperformed in the second half 21-27 but had enough points saved up to walk away with the win. The win got them back to even at 4-4. The loss dropped Warrenton's record to 1-7.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Orchard Farm will look to defend their home turf next week against Duchesne at 7:00 PM. Duchesne are limping into the contest on a seven-game losing streak. As for Warrenton, they will face off against Fort Zumwalt East. Warrenton will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
